ABOUT ABOUT

IMPORTANT UPDATE: DUE TO MASSIVE POWER OUTAGES ACROSS OUR REGION AND THE CLOSURE OF SAN JACINTO COLLEGE WHERE THIS EVENT WAS SCHEDULED TO BE HOSTED, WE ARE SADDENED THAT WE MUST CANCEL THIS EVENT. ALL TICKETS HAVE BEEN REFUNDED AND TICKET SALES HAVE CEASED.

THE FREE VIRTUAL SCREENING FOR THIS EVENT IS STILL SCHEDULED FOR ONLINE VIEWING FOR FEBRUARY 21st - 28th. IF YOU HAVE POWER, PLEASE JOIN US HERE.

Hosted by the San Jacinto College Dance Program, Artists for Hope is a charity concert event in which all proceeds are gifted to a chosen local organization that makes a positive impact in our community. Entering its 6th year, AFH has embraced the virtual dance world and will transition from a previously live event to our first ever International Film Festival. We received 60 submissions of short dance films from 16 different countries, and we are thrilled to share them with you!

We will be premiering these selections at our live screening, drive-in style on the San Jacinto College South Campus, on Saturday February 20, 2021. A virtual screening will also be available online from February 21st - 28th.

All proceeds from this event will be gifted to this year's chosen charity, Dance Source Houston, whose mission is to empower the diverse individuals and organizations working in the field of dance throughout the Greater Houston region by means of advocacy, inclusive community engagement and support services.

As part of San Jacinto College's saftey protocols, all campus visitors (all vehicle passengers) must complete a pre-screening form within a 48 hour window prior to visiting the campus. Fill out the pre-screening form HERE. Face coverings are required for all visitors on our campus. All visitors are on our campus are expected to maintain social distancing. While visitors may bring food and drink to enjoy during the show, NO ALCOHOL is permitted on our campus.
