Artists for Hope 2019

By San Jacinto College Dance Program (other events)

2 Dates Through Feb 16, 2019

ABOUT ABOUT

Artists for Hope is a charity concert event in which all tickets sales are gifted to a chosen local charity. It is hosted by the San Jacinto College Dance Program and it is our fourth year producing the event.  Last year we raised over $2,500 for Unbound Houston, an organization based in Pearland, TX that activates and educates the local community to stop and prevent the spread of human trafficking. This year we hope to have the same impact on our chosen organization, Houston Children’s Charity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for Greater Houston’s underprivileged, abused and disabled children who have been otherwise left behind. Find out more about them! http://houstonchildrenscharity.org/

This years artists include Ad Deum Dance Company, Ad Deum II, NobleMotion/NMD2, Open Dance Project/ODP2, METdance/METtoo, Mitsi Dancing School, Group Acorde, Juxtapose Arts Collective, and the San Jacinto College Performing Arts Company. Concerts on Friday and Saturday nights will feature works from these artists. FREE master classes are generously provided on Friday and Saturday. View class schedule HERE.

Tickets may be purchased on this site. They may also be purchased at the door (cash only).
