Please join us in celebrating the San Jacinto College Dance Program's 20th Anniversary on Friday November 22nd and Saturday November 23rd! We have put together a wonderful weekend of events including concerts, free master classes, and a special closing night reception in the South Campus Gallery.
Our concert will include a unique line up of brand new dance works created by our San Jac Dance faculty, a collection of throwback works from the San Jac repertiore performed by original casts, and new dance works set on the current San Jac Dance Performing Arts Company by invited alumni. We are also excited to present a special performance by Dr. Suzanne Oliver, who orinally started the Dance Program at South Campus 20 years ago!
We hope that all of our San Jac Dance alumni will attend. Please be our special guests for this event and attend the concerts for Free!
Children 12 and under also attend the concerts for free.
We also invite everyone to come take our FREE master classes offered during the day by San Jac Dance Alumni and former San Jac Dance Faculty. These classes are totally free and open to the public. You do not have to be a student at San Jac to take these classes! We encourage dancers of all levels to come and dance with us! Click HERE to view the master class schedule.
Finally, we invite everyone to join us for a special closing night reception in the South Campus Art Gallery. Come view the limited time historical archive of the Dance Program in the exhibition honoring 20 Years of Dance, enjoy a wide assortment of hors D'eouvres, eat cake, and mingle and reconnect with old friends.
